TFTV Cevo TF2 Quarterfinals Predictions

The guys over at TFTV have put together yet another improvement over their last video predicting the outcomes of CEVO’s quarterfinals in TF2. I would love to see some TGL coverage before STA though. TGL is further along in their tournament and as kaybee has pointed out, there are some stellar matches coming up in the next few days. I completely agree and hope that STA is delayed in leiu of these more competitive games.

Why would you do STA predictions when you have some awesome matchups in TGL this Sunday….20id vs SB, SIT vs UGKZ, -P- vs [TDA], 50|CAL vs ex. TGL is starting to have some interesting matchups this week. Would be nice to see some preds on that. -kaybee

Once again those guys, amazing work on your videos, this is the best thing that the TF community has had since modems went to 56k.

TFTV Episode #4

The guys over at TFTV have put together yet another wonderful episode recapping the 2nd round of the CEVO tournament. Unfortunately, this round saw the defeat of Jailbait, Hostile Takeover and Paradigm Shift. These were the last 3 clans made up mostly of Quakeworld Teamfortress players. I guess our lives got in the way of practicing 24/7. Oh well, best of luck to the remaining teams.

Good job getting a point on a very tough team [Ht]. And Paradigm Shift, you guys did an amazing job handling The Experiment.

CEVO TFTV Round2 Predictions

The guys over at TFTV have put together yet another great video predicting the outcome of the 2nd round of the CEVO TF2 tournament.

I’ve noticed a trend though, no old school TF clans get any LOVE! I really think that [Ht] has the skill and teamwork to take Tap Dat Ass. Hostile has been together as long as DJedi and have played together in various other games over the years which has kept their teamwork honed to a high level. Hostile is still playing a very tough team in Tap Dat Ass a team which beat JailBait in the first round of CEVO play. Good luck [Ht]!

-P- Paradigm Shift probably has the most TF experience of any team that’s still in CEVO. IceHawk, Rust, KingKong, sabatoge, MrBungle and Sw0oSh have been kicking (my) ass in QWTF since before most of the current players were out of diapers. These guys represent Gothic Terror [GT] and Wolvesmoon [WM] from Quake World, two of the oldest and highest respected clans of all time. That being said, these guys still will have a very difficult time playing against The Experiment and will be lucky to get a single point given the high level of teamwork displayed by clan ex.

CEVO TF2 2nd Round Predictions

CEVO|Clay has updated his predictions for the 2nd Round of the CEVO TF2 tournament. While I agree with most of his predictions, I have to pull for Jailbait over Comedy Option for no other reason than they are full of old school TF talent and I want to see them succeed.

Cevo 1st Round Playoff Recap

The guys over at Team Fortress TV have put together a recap of the 1st round of games in the CEVO playoffs. Once again these guys do a stellar job and have put together a nice compilation of demos and commentary on the games.

CEVO Demos

I have uploaded a demo from my POV of our match vs. The Experiment last night. My favorite part is the beginning where we cloaked in unison and knifed the entire other team during the warmup. I have also obtained two demos from SK and Brave who played against us last night.

While I was on the TFTV ftp site, I downloaded all the other demos that were there and they are available at There are other demos from noteable teams including EPIC vs. Strictly Business and Random New Clan’s match vs Tap Dat ASS. You can also see the CAPT-N-Crunch vs. Midnight Tokers

Other Matches
407 Death Clan vs. BOSS
JailBait vs. UGKZ

GG Experiment!

Team Experiment handed DJedi their first loss in over a month. The prediction was painfully correct and though we fought a valiant effort, we were not able to get a single point on The Experiment.

1st Round 0-3
2nd Round 0-1
Final: The Experiment wins, 4-0.

Goodluck in the rest of the tournament, guys! Keep on rollin’.

Aparently, the guys over at Team Fortress TV don’t think too much of us.
They have put together a great TF2-related show though. Go check it out. And make sure you stay tuned near the end where they predict the DJedi vs. Experiment match tonight. LAWLERCOASTER
Fast forward to about 6:25 if you want to skip the silly stuff.

DJedi defeats I Dyslexia

DJedi finished out the regular season of CEVO with a win over I Dyslexia <3, my favorite clan name. 1st Round we won 3-0. 2nd Round they capped on us first and then we reset and capped back to go to 1-1, which gave us 4 points, enough to win the match.  Final 4-1

I remembered to take a screenshot at the end of RD2.
